Don't give up

 

Have you never wondered,
why only meet desperate hearts,
have you never wished,
riding on the wings of love,
right between the stars,
have you never promised yourself,
to change direction,
to become fate's first affection,
so what kind will you be,
acting like a puppet,
while destiny is pulling the strings,
or fighting back the ghost of the past ...

Looking for sunshine,
while clouds got in your way,
hoping for the best,
but only suspicion comes to you,
trying to make your life fading back to grey,
time to prove your faith,
it's the cat among the pigeons,
promise everything,
giving nothing at all ...

So don't give up,
even when true love seems so far away,
give yourself a new start,
the first is not always the best,
and remember,
again and again,
it's worth trying every single day ...
